Sensi needs one device on site to read your equipment and send the data securely to the cloud. We supply and configure industrial IoT gateways, or connect to the computers and devices you already have.
BLIIoT BL110 and BL110P
- Reads Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP devices, and Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and Delta PLCs
- BL110: 2 serial ports, up to 10 devices and 512 data points
- BL110P: 6 serial ports, up to 50 devices and 4,000 data points
- Ethernet with optional 4G and WiFi, falling back to 4G when the wired link drops
- Keeps readings during outages and sends them when the link returns
- DIN rail mount, 9 to 36 V DC, rated from minus 40 °C to 85 °C
Already have a PC or server on site?
The Sensi Edge Agent runs on an industrial PC, server or Raspberry Pi on your plant network and reads Modbus TCP, OPC UA and MQTT devices directly. Each agent has its own key that only works for its own project.
Devices that publish over MQTT, such as wireless sensors and telemetry units, can also send their readings to Sensi.
Common questions
Which gateway do I need?
For a single panel, skid or pump station with up to 10 devices, the BL110. For a plant room or several panels, the BL110P. If you already have a computer on the plant network, the Sensi Edge Agent may be enough.
Which protocols are supported?
Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, OPC UA and MQTT, plus Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and Delta PLC protocols through the BL110 gateway.
Is the connection secure?
Readings travel over encrypted connections, each site has its own credentials, and every client project is kept separate in the database.
