Sensi / Historian

A process historian your whole team can use

Sensi includes a time series historian that stores every reading from your plant. Open any sensor and look back over the last hour or the last year in seconds, compare equipment side by side, and see the slow changes that a live screen never shows.

Built for trend analysis

Why a historian matters

Most equipment fails slowly. A bearing wears over weeks, a filter blocks over days, a pump loses efficiency over months. With a historian you can see those changes early and plan maintenance instead of reacting to breakdowns.

The same history backs up compliance reporting, investigations after an incident, and conversations about energy use.

No server to look after

Traditional historians need a server on site, licences and someone to maintain them. Sensi runs in the cloud, stores data in Sydney, Australia, and is ready the moment your gateway starts sending readings.

Common questions

What is a process historian?

A process historian is a database designed for time series data from industrial equipment. It records readings with their timestamps so you can trend, compare and report on them later.

How long is history kept?

Twelve months by default. Longer retention is available for sites that need it, for example for compliance.

Can I see history for several sites together?

Yes. Any sensors in the same project can be trended on one chart, even if they are at different sites.
